This proof-of-concept has been posted to support the review of an NSF proposal entitled "Ubiquitous Contextual Access to STEM Educational Resources (UCASTER)."

This is intended to demonstrate the general concept and some key underlying capabilities. It is not a completed product.

This demo requires Chrome. If you don't have the Chrome browser you will need to download it and return to this page using Chrome. Or, you can watch a video of this demo in action.

1 Installation

Install UCASTER UCASTER is a Chrome Extension.
Click this button to install it.

  1. Confirm installAfter clicking the install button look at the bottom of your browser for this confirmation alert and click continue to download the extension.
  2. You will also see a second dialog listing which services the UCASTER extension will have access to. Click Install to continue.

For your privacy this demo only processes the text of pages you indicate. All other settings are stored locally on your computer.
