Debbie Brown

Debbie Brown combines 15 years experience leading projects in education and workforce training with current, hands-on knowledge of software, web application and mobile application development. Prior to joining Eduworks in 2011, Ms. Brown spent 12 years at Mississippi State University. While there she served as system engineer and solutions architect for InSite Studio, a visual eLearning authoring tool, and as project lead and systems engineer for numerous online education and training programs. Customers included the American Trucking Association, the Tennessee Valley Authority,the Center for Advanced Vehicular Systems, the Department of Defense Education Activity, the University of Hawaii, and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. While at MSU, Ms. Brown also helped write and win an an earmark grant from the U.S. Department of Labor to develop a distributed learning system for workforce training and then became Principle Investigator on that project. Throughout her career, Debbie has been able to effectively communicate with customers, end users, engineers, and management and develop solutions that meet the requirements of all stakeholders. Debbie Brown has also contributed to the development and administration of standards through the IEEE Computer Society.

Debbie has an undergraduate degree in computer engineering and an MS Ed. in Instructional Technology.
