How We Do It We have technology that analyzes your content and automatically produces rough XHTML or MXML versions of the original screens, including basic interactions. We apply another set of techniques and tools to implement advanced interactive elements, and we use our own Tenereo course development tool to chunk the content, add metadata, enable progress and scores to be tracked by an LMS and publish the module or course as a SCORM 2004 package.
Why Our Conversion is BetterThis is not a manual screen-by-screen conversion process, and you do not end up with content in another proprietary format that you must go back to the developer to maintain. We use our specialized technology to convert your content and give you content that you can update yourself using ordinary tools. That’s not all:
- Text is externalized for translation into other languages. Unicode is supported.
- All content is SCORM conformant and 508 compliant. (We helped write SCORM!)
- Look and feel is controlled by themes. Don't like it? Change it!
- Your LMS can track learning outcomes and you can easily add or modify objective-driven learning strategies.
- Content is tagged with metadata (down to the page level!) for easier search and discovery.
