Meeting a Need Through Funded Research |

SCENARIO: Eduworks staff and associates had worked with several digital library projects that were part of the National Science Digital Library (NSDL). Eduworks became aware of the need to promote practices that increased the reusability and interoperability of content accessible through the NSDL.
SOLUTION: Eduworks applied for National Science Foundation funding to create guidelines (patterned after Web Accesibility Guidelines), run workshops and otherwise promote reusability within the NSDL context. RESULT: The has resulted in the Reusable Learning project, which has applications to the entire e-learning community. |
