SCENARIO: A large technology provider acquired a learning management system. A division within the company was interested in entering the educational market with this new system. Its sales and marketing staffs were not very familiar with e-learning technology and were confused by the mass of literature on interoperability and standards. Overall market strategy had yet to be determined, and the division sought some clarification on the product space and market opportunities.
SOLUTION: Eduworks produced white papers explaining the e-learning technology space and interoperability standards in terms that could be understood by non-experts in the company. RESULT: The company detected flaws in its original market strategy and to enter the educational space with other products but not with a learning management system. The company was pleased with the white papers produced by Eduworks and posted them to their Web site as a service to the community. |
