Research Yesterday - Eduworks has been engaged in e-learning research for more than five years. With funding from government organizations, Eduworks has studied multiple aspects of e-learning content reuse, built prototype tools for content repurposing, and developed a prototype competency and training record management system. Eduworks has frequently been engaged to research and produce reports on industry technology trends and has invested its own resources in basic and applied research into semantic technologies.
Today - The results of this research are being incorporated into commercial tools & technology that automate a variety of e-learning processes including contextual search and discovery and metadata generation, and innovative content creation and repurposing tools.
Tomorrow - Eduworks is committed to maintaining an active research program focused on finding and developing key enabling technologies and processes for the next generation of community-based, competency-driven, globally available, and locally contextualized learning, education and training.
Our Focus
Eduworks research projects continue to be focused on two strategic objectives: - Removing technology barriers to enable global participation in online learning, training, education and performance support.
- Enabling the transformation from the existing paradigm of online replacements for lectures and texts to immersive, interactive, adaptive, personalized learning experiences that we believe will lead to more effective, faster, and cheaper learning.
