GOAL: Make summative decisions concerning the quality and effectivenes of Web-based pedagagogical resources.

CRITERIA: We will evaluate Web sites according to the following criteria:

• Instructional and Pedagogic Design
• Site design (Human-Computer Interface and Usability Issues)
• Record keeping and user management (where applicable)
• Interactivity and adaptivity
• Use of multimedia
• Accessibility (ADA requirements and platform dependence)

APPROACH: Review and synthesize research into a "scoring guide".

KEYSTONE ACTIVITY: Apply to two sites from the ED-MEDIA 99 Conference.
